Police have charged two men following an armed robbery this morning at Andergrove.
Police will allege about 5.35am two men entered a food store on Celeber Drive, with one of the men wielding a knife.
It will further be alleged one of the men demanded money while the other held a knife towards employees.
The men attempted to leave the store with the money but were detained by a member of the public and the employees, until police arrived and arrested the pair.
A 19-year-old Beaconsfield man has been charged with armed robbery and enter with intent, while a 29-year-old Tasmanian man was charged with armed robbery, enter premises with intent and contravene direction.
They are due to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court tomorrow.
