Two women have been charged following an alleged armed robbery attempt at a Slacks Creek service station early this morning.
It will be alleged around 12.20am two women entered the Paradise Road business before threatening a staff member with a knife
The employee retreated to a back office area while one of the women allegedly tried to open a cash register but was unsuccessful and the pair left the store.
A 30-year-old Inala woman and a 21-year-old Slacks Creek woman were charged with attempted armed robbery.
They will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
