Police are investigating an attempted aggravated robbery at the Caltex on Salisbury Highway at Salisbury Downs overnight. At about 10.15pm, two men entered the Caltex, one allegedly armed with a box cutter and threatened the attendant, the other standing watch at the door with an iron bar. The suspects left empty handed. No one was physically injured. A police dog patrol attended the area and located a track along Londonderry Avenue but the suspects could not be located. The suspect who approached the counter is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall, late 20s, slim build, wearing a brown long sleeved jacket with a hood, a black mask and white sunglasses.
