Sturt police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at a Seaview Downs service station overnight.

Just after 12.30am, a man armed with a hammer and wearing a balaclava entered the service station on Seacombe Road and demanded cash from the attendant. A small amount of money was handed over and the suspect made off on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a police dog patrol but could not locate the suspects.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 18 years old, about 170 cm tall, average build, wearing all black, with an Australian accent. He was last seen heading east on Seacombe Road.
