Police are investigating the armed robbery at a hotel in Fortitude Valley this morning.

Around 3am this morning two men entered the hotel. The first man has used a knife to threaten the manager and demanded money. The two men have left with a sum of cash and the manager’s mobile phone.

The first man is described a having tanned skin, heavy build, brown eyes brown straggly hair with an Australian accent. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue pants and a dark shirt covering his face.

The second man is described as being approximately 180 centimeters tall solid build and wearing a beige beanie.

No person sustained any injuries as a result of this robbery.

Investigations are continuing.
