18 March 2014 – Update – Appeal – 2 Armed Robberies – Hotel – Burpengary

Police are appealing for information from the public as they continue to investigate two armed robberies of a hotel at Burpengary in January.
On both January 1 and 8 a man, allegedly armed with a firearm, entered a hotel on the Bruce Highway Eastern Service Road and demanded cash from staff. The man left the hotel with an amount of money and entered a waiting car.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robberies.
Specific information was recently received by a member of the public via Crimestoppers in relation to these incidents.
