Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old Port Noarlunga man with two counts of attempt aggravated robbery last night.

It will be alleged, about 8.45pm, the man armed with a knife went to a Pizza Hut on Beach Road, Noarlunga Centre and threatened staff. He fled empty handed. Police were quickly on scene and the man was arrested nearby.

Police will allege the man was also involved in a similar incident at a Christies Beach petrol station earlier in the night.

No-one was injured during these incidents.

The man has been refused police bail and will appear in court sometime monday.
