North Brisbane police are investigating a bottle shop that was robbed last night in Zillmere.
Initial investigations indicate that around 7.30pm a man entered the Handford Road business armed with two knives and approached the man at the counter, demanding money.
After taking a sum cash and property from the store, the man then left on-foot towards Pretoria Street.
Police attempted to locate the man, however were unsuccessful.
He is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, around 178cm tall and was wearing (at the time) long black pants, a purple hooded-jumper, a black cap and carrying a red backpack.
No one was physically injured and investigations are continuing.
