Police are appealing for public assistance following the armed robbery of a tobacconist at Kingsford.
About 6.20pm yesterday (Sunday 30 March 2014), a person entered the shop on the corner of Anzac Parade and Middle Street, armed with a firearm.
The person threatened a female staff member, demanding cash.
The woman complied and the person fled, last seen running along Middle Street.
The person has been described as being 160cm tall, with a medium build, dark complexion and brown eyes. At the time they were wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, dark green pants and brown shoes.
