9 April 2014 – Update – Charges Laid – Armed Robbery – Milk Bar – Corio

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 19-year-old man following an alleged armed robbery at a Corio milkbar last week.

The Corio man has been charged with armed robbery, make threats to kill and threat to inflict serious injury.

He will appear in Geelong Magistrates’ Court today.

The charges follow the armed robbery of a store on Goldsworthy Road about 7.20pm on Tuesday, 1 April.
