Port Adelaide Detectives are investigating the aggravated robbery of a Chinese restaurant in Findon last night.
At about 10pm a man armed with a large garden hook entered the shop on Grange Road and demanded money.
The suspect leaned over the counter and took the till containing a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
A police dog patrol searched the area. It is believed the suspect ran in the direction of Elizabeth Avenue.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 25 years of age, 175cm tall, slim build, shoulder length black hair. He was wearing a black hooded jumper and black pants.
