A woman has been arrested following an attempted bank robbery at Glenelg this morning. Police will allege the woman entered the Bendigo Bank, Jetty Road, Glenelg at 10.45am and demanded money. Staff refused and the woman exited the branch. She was arrested outside the bank by the attending police patrol. The 58-year-old woman of no fixed address has been detained and taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for assessment. It is expected that she will be charged with robbery. She will be refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
