25 April 2014 – Armed Robbery – Fast Food Business – Hermit Park

Police are investigating after a man armed with a metal bar attempted to rob a fast food business at Hermit Park last night.
Around 9.10pm a man entered the Charters Towers Road business and demanded money. As other staff started to seek refuge in an office the man ran from the store empty handed.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as tall and of skinny build and was wearing dark clothing. He had a cloth obscuring his face.
