Police have charged three boys with armed robbery following an incident at a convenience store on Wembley Road, Logan Central overnight.

Three boys entered the store at approximately 12.30am and approached the counter.

It is alleged one of the juveniles demanded the operator open the cash drawer, which he declined.

It is then alleged a second juvenile produced a piece of broken glass and threatened the operator.

The juveniles allegedly stole food before leaving the store. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The boys are aged between 14 and 16-years-old and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
