Detectives from Springvale Embona Taskforce are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a bank in Keysborough last week.

Police have been told that a man entered the bank on Cheltenham Road between 1.30pm and 2pm on Tuesday 13 May.

The man approached a teller and handed over a note and demanded cash before repeating the words fifties, fifties.

The teller handed over a quantity of cash before the man left the premises and headed off along Cheltenham Road.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, unshaven, blue eyes with brown collar length hair and a medium build.
