Police are appealing for information after a convenience store was robbed at Kensington tonight (Friday 30 May 2014).

About 6pm, two males entered the store on the corner of Anzac Parade and Carlton Street.

One of the offenders was armed with what’s only been described as an object.

The pair threatened the male attendant and demanded money.

After removing a quantity of cash from the register, the pair left the store. They were last seen running east along Carlton Street.

The attendant was not injured during the robbery.

Detectives from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command are investigating the incident, and would like to speak with two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The first man is described as being about 25 years old, with a thin build, dark skin and sunken cheeks. At the time of the incident, he was wearing an orange hooded spray jacket and jeans.

The second man is described as being about 25 years old, with a thin build and dark skin, and wearing a black hooded jumper and jeans.
