Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station near Wagga Wagga last night.
About 11pm (Thursday 5 June), a man with his face covered and armed with a hammer smashed through a glass door of the service station on Bourke Street in Tolland.
The employee inside ran from the scene, before the armed man stole cash from the register.
Police from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command established a crime scene and searched the area for the robber without success.
The offender is described as being Caucasian appearance, 165 to 170cm tall, stocky/muscular build and wearing a dark blue jacket, black track pants, a light grey beanie and black shoes
