2 June 2014 – Armed Robbery – Gaming Venue – Epping

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at a gaming venue this evening.

Police believe that four men drove to the O’Herns Road premises in a Holden sedan around 6.30pm.

Three men exited the car, entered the venue and menaced staff and patrons before accessing the cashiers area.

The men threatened a female staff member with a knife and forced her to hand over a quantity of cash.

The men then ran out of the venue, got back into the car and drove off.

All of those involved were wearing dark coloured clothing and hooded tops.
