Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Bargara bottle shop this afternoon.
Preliminary information indicates that a man, believed to be armed with a tyre iron, entered the Bauer Street business and demanded money from the shop attendants.
The man fled the store with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
