Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at a home wares shop in Geelong last month.
Police have been told that a man entered the Ryrie Street shop on Saturday 21 June around 3.15pm.
The man walked around the store, browsing, until a number of other shoppers paid for their goods and left.
The man selected two glass jars and approached the counter where a shop assistant wrapped his purchases.
While standing at the counter, the man produced a pair of scissors and demanded cash from the female attendant.
The male took an amount of cash from the till and ran from the store at approximately 3.40pm.
The man is described as being aged in his mid teens to his early 20s, unshaven with blonde hair.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a hooded top and black pants.
