Eastern Adelaide Police are investigating a theft at a convenience store in the Adelaide CBD where the offender threatened the staff member with a can of mace.

At about 2.55pm on Sunday 29 June, three men entered a convenience store in the Adelaide CBD. One of the men took foodstuffs and items from the shelves and concealed them in his clothing. When challenged by the staff member, the man produced a spray can, claiming it was mace and the three left the store.
