7 July 2014 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Springwood

Police are searching for a man following the armed robbery of a convenience store at Springwood yesterday afternoon.
Around 5.30pm a man walked into the Watland Street business before producing a knife and walking behind the counter.
He demanded a female shop attendant open the cash register before stealing a sum of cash from the till and fleeing the scene on foot.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 190cm tall with a heavy build.
Police investigations are continuing.
