Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Elizabeth yesterday afternoon. At about 5.50pm, a man armed with a knife threatened staff and demanded money at the drive-through window of the Hungry Jacks restaurant on Elizabeth Way. Staff kept the window closed, and the man then assaulted a male staff member who was outside the restaurant. The staff member did not suffer any injuries as a result of the assault. The suspect is described as 25-30 years old, 180cm tall, medium build, and had a beard. He was wearing a black cardigan and a white collared shirt, and a baseball cap worn backwards. – See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/more-news/25912-attempted-robbery-at-elizabeth.html#sthash.tDv3EQDw.dpuf
