South Coast Police have arrested and charged two men in connection to a recent a taxi driver robbery at Port Noarlunga South.

At about 7.30pm on Friday night, two men one armed with a knife, allegedly threatened a taxi driver and stole his wallet.

Last night South Coast Detectives arrested two men aged 22 and 23-years-old from Christie Downs with aggravated robbery.

The 23-year-old man was also charged with a further count of aggravated robbery and theft following a similar incident where a taxi driver was robbed and his cab stolen at Noarlunga Downs on 13 July.

The 23-year-old man has been refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The younger man has been bailed to appear in court on 1 September.
