Brimbank Embona Taskforce detectives are appealing for information after a milk bar owner was robbed at knifepoint in Sunshine last month.

Investigators have been told the robber entered the Hampshire Road store around 9.50am on 21 July and approached the front counter demanding cash.

When the attendant refused, the man pulled out a carving knife and brandished it at him.

The shopkeeper opened the till and the robber grabbed a sum of cash before fleeing the scene on foot east along Benjamin Street.

Detectives investigating have released CCTV images and footage of the man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The man police wish to speak to is described as being Caucasian, around 183cm tall and aged between 25-35 with a reddish-coloured beard.

He was wearing a black cap with a distinctive red and white logo on the front, a dark-coloured jacket with a fawn-coloured collar, black tracksuit pants with white stripes up the side and black runners with white laces.
