A man has been arrested after allegedly robbing a service station at St. Agnes earlier this afternoon. Just after 4.30pm, police were called to the Liberty service station on North East Road, after a man armed with a firearm threatened staff and stole cash and cigarettes. No one was injured during the incident. A green Holden sedan was seen leaving the area, and an extensive search led police to Birdwood, where they located the suspect and the car. The money and cigarettes were located inside the car, along with the firearm. A 51-year-old Mount Pleasant man will face charges of aggravated robbery, theft and possess a prescribed firearm. It is expected he will be refused bail to appear in court on Monday. – See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/more-news/26203-man-arrested-after-st-agnes-robbery.html#sthash.y8MYYd73.dpuf
