Holden Hill and Elizabeth Police are investigating a series of four armed robberies on business premises at Ridgehaven, Fairview Park, Para Vista and Parafield Gardens last night.

At 6.20pm, a man allegedly armed with a firearm attempted to rob a Beauty Salon at Ridgehaven.

A short time later the same man then committed three others robberies.

At 6.30pm a Video store on Hancock Road at Fairview Park was robbed with cash stolen.  At 6.40pm another Video shop on Nelson Road Para Vista was robbed of cash.

And lastly at about 8.30pm a Liquor shop on Salisbury Highway at Parafield Gardens was robbed by the same man who demanded money.

CCTV from the robberies indicates the same man was involved in four incidents.

The suspect (pictured) is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185 to 188cm tall, with a solid build.

He was wearing a black hooded top, dark jeans, khaki shoes and was also wearing orange high visibility vest over his hooded top.

There were no injuries in any of the robberies.
