Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Charmhaven yesterday.

About 10.45am (Sunday 10 August 2014), a man entered a service station on the Pacific Highway, armed with a handgun.

Police have been told the armed man threatened a female attendant, demanding cash.

He fled the scene a short time later with cash. No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As they continue to investigate the incident, police wish to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 40-50 years old, 170cm tall, of medium build and with grey chin stubble.

The man was seen wearing a white polo shirt, royal blue shorts, running shoes with pink laces, a dark brown beanie and dark sunglasses.
