Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at Goulburn overnight.

Just after 10pm (Monday 18 August 2014), a man walked into a service station on Goldsmith Street armed with a knife.

The armed man approached the attendant, a 26-year-old man, threatening him while demanding money.

He fled with cash and police were alerted.

Officers from The Hume Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to identify and locate the man involved.

He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 175cm to 180cm tall, and was wearing a black hooded jumper over a grey shirt, blue or grey pants and black shoes.
