19 August 2014 – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Hallett Cove

Sturt Police are investigating an armed hold up at a Tavern in Hallett Cove last night.

At about 10.35pm, police were called to the Cove Tavern on Ramrod Avenue after reports a man armed with a gun, threatened staff and demanded money.

The suspect ran off with an amount of cash.  Police are patrolling the area to try and locate him.  Thankfully no one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance with a large build.  He was wearing a balaclava, dark pants and dark colored sneakers.
