Police have charged two people after a man armed with a knife robbed a convenience store in Milton last night.

It will be alleged around 10.45pm two men entered the Baroona Road business when one of the men produced a knife and demanded money and goods.

Police will further allege the men then left business with cash and store items. They were last seen walking away from the scene however officers located the pair a short distance away.

A 51-year-old Bowen Hills man and a 38-year-old Fortitude Valley man were each charged with armed robbery and are scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
