Police from St George Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed hold-up at a hotel in Bexley overnight.

About 3.15am (Tuesday 26 August, 2014) two men entered a hotel on Stoney Creek Road, one armed with a firearm, the other with a knife.

The two men, wearing balaclava’s, threatened a number staff members demanding cash.

They left the hotel in a dark coloured Audi with an amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery and a crime scene has now been established while detectives and specialist police conduct a full investigation.
