8 September 2014 – Update – Charges Laid – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Nerang

Police have charged a man in relation to the armed robbery of a convenience store in Nerang yesterday morning, September 7, 2014.

Around 9.30am yesterday a man entered the Adalong Place shop and allegedly demanded cash from the shop assistant. When the assistant did not comply it is alleged the man produced a gun.

A 20-year-old Biggera Waters man has been charged with armed robbery and weapon offences.

He is expected to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
