Police are investigating an armed hold-up at a liquor store in Underdale today.
Just before 2.30pm a man entered a store on Holbrooks Road and threatened staff with a knife before running off with an amount of cash. He was seen getting into a waiting vehicle where another person drove the pair away.
There were no physical injuries.
The suspect who threatened staff is described as a Caucasian man in his 30s, wearing a grey hooded jumper with two black stripes on both sleeves and a number ‘6’ on the top breast pocket. He is also wearing tracksuit pants with the word ‘Everlast’ along the side.
There is no description of the driver.
Police are seeking the assistance of the public to locate a green 2004 Ford Falcon sedan with registration S175AUH.
