29 September 2014 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Elizabeth North

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at an Elizabeth North hotel.

Just before 8pm, patrols were called to the Red Lion Hotel on Woodford Road after two men armed with knives threatened staff in the bottle shop area of the hotel.

They stole cash and were last seen running towards Womma Road.

One of the suspects is described as being of Caucasian appearance, wearing a black baggy t-shirt, grey cargo pants, black beanie, sunglasses and black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, wearing a light grey hooded jumper with a black logo and grey tracksuit pants.

No one was injured during the robbery.
