Police are investigating an armed robbery of a service station that occurred at Daisy Hill early this morning.

Around 4.30am, two men entered the Daisy Hill Road store and approached the store attendant.

One of the men produced a handgun while the other jumped the counter and stole a sum of cash and cigarettes.

The men fled the scene on foot.

One man is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a slim build. He was wearing a bright yellow rain coat, black jeans, and a black beanie.

The second man is described as being African in appearance with a slim build. He was wearing bright orange overalls and a black baseball cap.

The attendant was not physically injured during the incident and police investigations continue.
