Caloundra CIB have charged a 36-year-old woman following the armed robbery of a convenience store this morning at Little Mountain.

It will be alleged that a woman entered the store located on Birrobeen Street at about 6am and threatened the female attendant while armed with a screwdriver, making demands for money.

The attendant complied and the woman left the scene in a silver sedan. Police located the vehicle and subsequently the woman a short while later.

A 36-year-old Wurtulla woman has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and enter with intent to commit and will appear in the Caloundra Magistrates Court on October 23.
