Police attached to Camden Local Area Command are investigating an armed robbery at a licensed premise at Leppington today.

Just after 2.30am (Saturday 11 October 2014), five men clad in balaclavas and armed with firearms, machetes and a metal pole, entered the hotel on Camden Valley Way at Leppington and approached staff.

The men took one of the employees to the safe area and demanded he hand over cash, which he did.

The men left the hotel and were seen to leave in a sedan driving in north on Camden Valley Way.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police attended, patrolled the area and established a crime scene.

Investigations are continuing.
