13 October 2014 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Kirwan

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Kirwan.
Around 8pm two men, entered the Bamford Lane business. One man jumped over the counter while another man armed with a knife demanded money from the female attendant.
The men fled the store with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers or their local police.
