Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery in Shellharbour yesterday.
About 2.45pm (Tuesday 4 November 2014) two men, one carrying a gun, entered a business on Addison Street.
The men allegedly threatened staff and demanded money.
Two employees, a 55-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, complied with their demands and handed over an amount of cash before the men fled on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.
Detectives are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
One of the men is described as Caucasian in appearance, 185cm tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants, blue latex gloves, and carrying a gun described as a single barrel sawed-off shotgun.
The other man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 175-180cm tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a blue hooded jumper, black track pants, white sneakers, black gloves with a skeleton printed on top, and had a black stocking covering his face.
