Police are investigating an armed robbery of a clothing store in Warren last night.

About 3.30pm (Friday 7 November 2014), a man armed with a syringe entered the clothing store on Dubbo Street, Warren, and threatened a 33-year-old female employee.

He fled the scene a short time later, taking cash.

Officers attached to Darling River Local Area Command were alerted and attended, establishing a crime scene.

The woman was uninjured during the incident.

As police continue their investigations, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 25-30 years old, 180cm tall and of slim build with short brown hair.
