Police have arrested two people in connection with the theft of alcohol from a Moonta hotel this week.

Police will allege that just after midnight on Wednesday 12 November, a man, in company with a woman, forced his way through a locked side door of the closed hotel.  Once inside, he threatened staff and left with a carton of premixed drinks.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Detectives from Port Pirie CIB arrested the two suspects later that day.  A 35-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from Moonta, were charged with aggravated robbery and bailed to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court on 15 December.
