Police continue to investigate an armed robbery in the state’s west and have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

About 3.40pm (Friday 7 November 2014), a 33-year-old woman was working at the counter of a clothing store, on Dubbo Street, Warren.

A man approached the counter and threatened the attendant with a syringe, demanding cash.

She complied handing over a sum of cash, before the man ran from the location.

Police were contacted and Darling River Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation.

The attendant was not injured as a result of the incident.

Investigators have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries. Police believe the man may not be from the local area.

The man depicted is of slim build, about 180cm tall, aged between 25 and 30, wearing a white long sleeved shirt with blue sleeves and grey trousers.
