Police are investigating an armed robbery in Drummoyne today.
About 4.40am (Wednesday 26 November 2014), a man armed with a pair of scissors entered a convenience store on Victoria Street and approached a 23-year-old man behind a service counter.
Police have been told the armed man demanded money, before walking from the store with cash and cigarettes towards Westbourne Street.
The staff member was uninjured during the incident.
Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command were called and commenced investigations.
Following inquiries, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 25-30 years old, 171cm tall and of thin build.
The man was seen wearing a dark hooded jumper over his head.
