1 December 2014 – Armed Robbery – Carpark Fast Food Outlet – Sunbury

Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating following an armed robbery outside a fast food outlet in Sunbury this morning.

Investigators believe that three men wielding firearms held up a cash delivery car which was parked in a car park outside the Horne Street restaurant just after 6am.

A large quantity of cash was taken but no one was injured during the incident.

The trio fled the scene on a motorbike and a vehicle described as a black club sport Commodore sedan or similar.

The car was last seen travelling north on Calder Hwy while the motorcycle was seen travelling south.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
