Police have released CCTV images as investigations continue into an armed robbery at Toongabbie last month.
Shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 19 November 2014, a man entered a convenience store on Metella Road and threatened the attendant with a knife.
The man demanded cash and fled the location a short time later with an amount of money.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers attached to Blacktown Local Area Command were contacted and launched an investigation into the incident.
A crime scene was established at the store and examined by specialist forensic officers.
Local police, with assistance from the Dog Unit, also conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however the man was not found.
Inquiries into the matter are continuing and police have now released CCTV images of a man, who they believe may be able to assist in the investigation.
The man depicted in the images is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 40 years of age, approximately 165cm tall and of a slim build.
He’s shown wearing an orange-coloured brimmed hat, dark-coloured long sleeve jacket and track suit pants.
Anyone who knows the man’s identity, or has any information that could assist police, is urged to come forward.
