6 December 2014 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Lawnton

Police are investigating after a man robbed a hotel at Lawnton early this morning.
Around 1.35am a man entered the Gympie Road premises and threatened the attendant with a machete, demanding money.
After taking a sum of cash the man fled on foot.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as wearing a blue motorcycle jacket, a motorcycle helmet with a mask covering his face, slim build and approximately 175 cm tall.
Investigations are continuing.
