Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Campbelltown this morning.

About 1am (Tuesday 16 December 2014), a 20-year-old man left a convenience store at the corner of Dumaresq Street and walked to an ATM on Queen Street to withdraw money.

Police have been told three men followed the man, before one of the men threatened him with a knife, demanding money.

The trio left the scene towards Campbelltown Railway Station, taking cash.

Officers attached to Campbelltown Local Area Command were called and commenced investigations. The man was uninjured during the incident.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to three men who may be able to assist them.

One man is described as being of African appearance, about 180 – 185cm tall, 20-years-old, of solid build, and was seen wearing a blue jumper and grey tracksuit pants.

he two remaining men are described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180 – 185cm tall and 20-years-old. One man is of thin build, with tattoos on his right arm and hand, and was seen wearing a red baseball cap, a white t-shirt, blue shorts and joggers.

 

The other man has sandy blond hair and was seen wearing a hat, a black wind jacket and black pants.
