Police are investigating an armed hold-up at a secondhand dealer at Mile End South overnight.

At about 4.45am, three masked men armed with sawn-off shotguns entered the South Road business and threatened staff.  They stole jewellery and a sum of cash before leaving.  No one was injured during the robbery.

There is no description of the vehicle used by the offenders at this stage.  A police dog was brought in to assist but was unable to find a track.
