Police are investigating the armed robbery of a shop in Prospect last night.
About 9.50pm (Monday 19 January 2015), a 25-year-old man was working in a fast food store on Myrtle Street, when two men with their faces covered entered the shop.
They threatened the attendant with a shortened shotgun and demanded cash, before they stole the cash register.
The men ran from the location, entered a red Nissan Pulsar and drove away.
Police were contacted and officers from Blacktown Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.
Investigators would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries, one was described as wearing a dark jacket, with a white hood on his head, and black track pants.
The second man was described as wearing a light-coloured hooded jumper with a large white worded emblem on the front, grey tracksuit pants and black shoes.
